What Decide Magnets Quality

There are five factors that decide magnets quality. They are remanence, magnetic coercivity, intrinsic coercivity, maximum magnetic energy product and the most highest working temperature.

Full name of remanence is remanent induction. It means that cancel the external magnetic field after magnetized to saturation in a closed environment. The intrinsic coercivity is a physical quantity which could measure magnet’s ability of resistance to demagnetization. The most highest working temperature could not exceed the temperature which indicated by the grade. For example, NdFeB magnet with N35 grade could not be more than 80 degree. As soon as the temperature reach to 80 degree, it will appear the phenomenon of demagnetization.

NdFeB magnet have permanent magnetic and easy to be processed due to its strong magnetic. They are widely used for many industries. But little people know magnetizing methods. The magnets we often used in daily life are all axial magnetization. No matter they are circular, square or other special-shaped. Certainly there are other magnetizing methods. Such as axial multistage filling, radial magnetization, inner circle radiation magnetizing and radiation magnetizing. Normal magnetization can be completed with magnetizing machine. But some special one should be finished with more tools.
