Current Situation Of Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Material

Now rare earth permanent magnet material has been important material in electronic communication technology. It is widely used for the man-made satellite, radar and other aspects of the traveling wave tube, micro motor, micro recorder, aviation equipment, electronic watches, seismic instrument and the other electronic instruments. At present, rare earth permanent magnetic has entered into automobile, household appliances, electronic instruments, magnetic resonance imaging, audio equipment, micro motor and mobile phone industries. Magnetic acupoint adopt rare earth permanent magnetic material in medical field.

There are many preparation process of rare earth permanent magnet material. Such as sintered magnets prepared by powder metallurgy sintering process, Reduction diffusion milling, made the hot deformation magnet into powder and preparing anisotropic bonded magnets by mold pressing or injection method.

Recent years, rare earth permanent magnetic material developed very quickly in China. Neodymium iron boron magnet made by Chinese are mainly used for audio devices. The second is the motor and oil well paraffin remover. However the largest amount of field abroad, such as voice coil, motor. They have been little application in China. Because voice coil and motor require high magnetic properties. These two industries need high precision machining and good coating quality.

Distinguish North And South Poles Of NdFeB Magnets

We have three method to distinguish north and south poles of NdFeB magnets. The first one is determine by the geographic pole. If it is a bar magnet, you can use a line tied the middle position of NdFeB magnet,then take it hanging up. The end pointing north is north pole, and the contrary end is south pole. Certainly you can judge by the principle of attraction repulsion. Put one end of magnet close to the south of known magnet, if they can suck together, it must be north pole. The last method is most simple. Put one end of the magnet close to north pole of stable compass. If they are repulsion, the end must be north pole.
