If it is a bar magnet, you can use a line tied the middle position of NdFeB magnet,then take it hanging up. The end pointing north is north pole, and the contrary end is south pole. Certainly you can judge by the principle of attraction repulsion. Put one end of magnet close to the south of known magnet, if they can suck together, it must be north pole. The last method is most simple. Put one end of the magnet close to north pole of stable compass. If they are repulsion, the end must be north pole.
