After The Magnet Breaking

Whether the fracture surface after the permanent magnet break off will attract each other or mutual exclusion, many people have debated with this problem. Everyone has his own opinion and usually the opinions are different. Some people think the position which the permanent magnet break off has contrary magnetic. But some others don’t think so. In fact, the most simple way to check it is test. After some tests, we will find that different shapes magnets will have different results.
From the test, the bar permanent magnet which we often see has opposite magnetic on the cleft. It means the two magnets that produced by crack will attract each other and can adsorption in a bonded together perfectly.
However you can not ignore other shapes of magnets, such as annular permanent magnet and pie permanent magnet. After the annular permanent magnet or pie permanent magnet cracked, the two magnet will have same magnetic. So the two can not attract each other. You make the two attach each other by force, but without any force, they will separate or even flip at once.
Above all, we have known that whether the fracture surface after the permanent magnet break off will attract each other or mutual exclusion are decided by their shapes.
